Desert Staged by Le Yack, a 40 × 40 cm limited-edition giclée on canvas, signed by the artist, in good condition, made in France after 2020.
Description from the seller
Under the blazing sun of a dry, arid landscape, a woman wearing a pastel pink dress from the 1950s sits gracefully in the shade of the aluminum trailer’s glittering awning. The metallic surface of the vehicle, like a distorting mirror, reflects not only the distant mountains and the woman's back, but above all reveals the narrative key of the work: the ghostly reflection of a man holding a camera, freezing this precise moment. This subtle mise en abyme transforms a scene of summery calm into a fascinating reflection on voyeurism, memory, and the theatricality of our lives. Le Yack expertly handles dazzling light and the texture of chromed metal here, offering a canvas of great psychological depth.
