Anton Heyboer created the acrylic painting Kip, an original edition from 1980–1990, sold with frame by Galerie, measuring 68 cm by 48 cm, featuring red, yellow and green colors.
Description from the seller
Due to his unconventional lifestyle, Anton Heyboer belonged to the most eccentric Dutch artists of the past decades. His turbulent lifestyle manifested in five marriages. He also described himself as 'the Robin Hood of the art world', referring to his prolific output. Heyboer was trained as a mechanical engineer. After World War II he began drawing, albeit still in a traditional style. Between 1954 and 1957 he developed his own philosophical framework on which his abstract artworks were based. Yet, figurative elements always remain present in his paintings and prints. He also clarified the themes of his work with texts, in which human relationships often play a role.
Dimensions: 58 x 39 cm
Dimensions with frame: 68 x 48 cm
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. We also use restorers from the industry association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
