Kip, an original abstract acrylic painting from the Netherlands, signed, in good condition, framed, 58 × 48 cm, in red and white.
Description from the seller
Due to his unconventional lifestyle, Anton Heyboer was among the most eccentric Dutch artists of the past decades. His turbulent life manifested itself in five marriages. He also described himself as 'the Robin Hood of the art world', referring to his prolific output. Heyboer was trained as a mechanical engineer. After World War II he began drawing, albeit still in a traditional style. Between 1954 and 1957 he developed his own philosophical framework on which his abstract artworks were created. Yet there are always figurative elements present in his paintings and etchings. He also clarified the themes of his work with texts, in which human relationships often play a role.
Dimensions: 39 x 29 cm
Dimensions with frame: 58 x 48 cm
Viewing is of course possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing shop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. We also work with restorers from the trade association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, of course we would be happy to hear from you.
