Artist's biography: Raymond POULET was born in Paris in 1934. A former student of the Écoles des Arts Décoratifs, Beaux-Arts and the Académie de Peinture of Paris, he regularly exhibits in France, Réunion Island, Guadeloupe, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Belgium, Germany, the United States, Japan, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Cameroon. He works in oil, lithography, engraving and Aubusson tapestries. He has illustrated numerous books and created several posters. Three monographs have been devoted to his work.
