Description from the seller
Ad Snijders (1929 – 2010) was an Eindhoven-based artist, draftsman, collagist and sculptor. He began drawing at the age of twelve and, in fact, never stopped. His style can best be described as expressionist, figurative art.
Both Snijders' themes and his way of working aligned with events in the time periods in which he worked. This made his work always current.
His work has been exhibited since 1957 in leading galleries and museums in both domestic and foreign countries. For example, his work could be seen at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and several times at the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven.
Dimensions with frame: 99 x 77 cm
Dimensions without frame: 65 x 50 cm
Viewings are, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we work with restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, please let us know.
