Manual, service manual, 1983/84 Harman Kardon brochure as well as all photos on CD-Rom.

Well equipped pre-amplifier with audiophile-like properties, features:
Very high-grade (silent) Phono input suitable for 2 record players  
MM/MC capable, adjustable capacity (switches on the front). 
The HK-825 has 2 outputs so bi-amping is possible.

The last 2 pictures are scans of a comparative test from 1983, published in the November issue of the German Stereoplay.
The German testers positioned the HK-825 in the "Spitzenklasse Gruppe III".
The price/quality ratio was rated more than sufficient.
