Description from the seller
Casper Faassen (born 1975) is a contemporary Dutch artist who lives and works in Leiden. His work moves between painting and photography, combining classical visual language with modern techniques. Central themes in his oeuvre are transience, beauty, and the tension between appearing and disappearing.
This work, however, reveals a playful, graphic side of Faassen. Against an intensely red background stands a pig with a cheerful, almost human expression.
Dimensions (including frame): 52 × 56 cm
Dimensions (without frame): 28 × 33 cm
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, celebrating its 85th anniversary. We also employ restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, of course we would be happy to hear from you.
