The intricate world of cameras brought to you by {name}

Edwin Molenaar

Selling a beautiful early Leica M4 from the first production batch, serial number 1175772, paired with a Leitz Summicron-M 50mm f/2 Rigid (serial 1956070).

The camera was recently professionally serviced, including replacement of the shutter curtains. Rangefinder is bright and well aligned, shutter speeds are accurate, and the camera operates smoothly as it should. Advance lever, rewind, and frame spacing all work correctly.

The body shows normal signs of careful use consistent with age, with original vulcanite intact and a very attractive vintage patina. No dents or major damage.

The Summicron 50mm f/2 Rigid is one of the most sought-after classic Leica lenses, known for its beautiful rendering and exceptional build quality. Focus is smooth, aperture clicks correctly, and the optics are clean with no fungus, haze, or separation visible under normal inspection.
