Pair of original Air France “Passage de la Ligne” certificates issued to Monsieur and Madame Dumont during the Paris–Tananarive flight on 9 September 1948.

These ceremonial Equator Crossing certificates were awarded to passengers crossing the Equator during long-distance Air France flights in the post-war colonial aviation era.

Both documents are original period pieces from 1948 and are consecutively numbered:

* Monsieur Dumont – No. 10995
* Madame Dumont – No. 10996

The certificates feature decorative artwork by Hervé Baillie and Hubert Baillie, embossed seals, and original French text referring to the crossing into the Southern Hemisphere aboard an Air France aircraft.
