The fantastical world of toys brought to you by {name}

Sean Devitt

This is an official character toy from Bandai's *Burn, Little Ruby!* series, released in 1999. It's a representative item from the late 1990s Japanese tokusatsu IP merchandise.

Information: Era: 1999 (Heisei 11), manufactured in Japan, belonging to the late 1990s tokusatsu collaboration toy category.

Brand: Bandai. Both the box and the toy itself are marked with "BANDAI 1999 MADE IN JAPAN".

Character: Roboboss, a supporting character from *Burn, Little Ruby!*. He is 185cm tall and weighs 200kg. He's a powerful robot used on construction sites, with a charmingly contrasting personality.

Material: The main body is made of hard ABS plastic. The head has electroplated silver parts. It comes with exclusive stickers and replacement parts.

Size: The finished product is approximately 15-18cm tall and 12-14cm wide. The outer box is the standard tokusatsu toy packaging size.

Toy Features and Functions

Core Mechanism Design: A rotating slot machine-style mechanism is built into the chest. Pressing the switch on the back or using the "DX Guntz" accessory from the show will trigger the rotation, enabling a point game function and recreating the show's setting.

Articulation and Accessories: The arms and legs are articulated, and a detachable "Boss Punch" fist replacement part is included, allowing for recreation of the show's battle poses.

Completeness and Condition: The original packaging, stickers, and instructions are retained. This is one of the best-preserved versions in the series, combining playability with collectible value.

Collection Background: "Burn, Roboboss!" is a classic tokusatsu drama created by Shotaro Ishinomori. This Roboboss toy is a collaboration item released by Bandai for a popular character from the show, considered a high-end model with interactive mechanisms in the children's toy market at the time. Now, as a classic Heisei tokusatsu toy, the complete boxed version has become a popular item in the retro tokusatsu collector's circle.
