This particular example, driven by the highly regarded Caliber 552, perfectly captures the sophisticated yet practical design language of the period. With its classic proportions and authentic vintage character, it stands as a versatile and historically significant timepiece for the discerning collector.

The matching baton hands display aged material that complements the overall aesthetic. Upon close inspection, the dial exhibits authentic vintage character, including scattered small dark and blueish spots across the surface, most notably near the center arbor and surrounding the printed Genève text. The T SWISS MADE T designation is clearly printed at the six o'clock position, completing the honest, untouched mid-century appearance.

Case and Crystal
The 34mm stainless steel case features a timeless profile with well-defined lugs that showcase brushed upper surfaces contrasting with polished flanks. Honest signs of wear, including light scratches and handling marks, are visible throughout, indicative of its history as a worn timepiece. The watch is fitted with a signed Omega crown and a domed acrylic (Hesalite) crystal. The screw-down caseback bears the engraved WATERPROOF designation and displays typical surface scratches from previous wear and opening.

Movement
Powering this timepiece is the esteemed Omega Caliber 552, a 24-jewel automatic movement renowned for its durability and engineering excellence. The copper-toned plating remains visually striking, with the caliber engraving and serial number 25677282 clearly stamped on the bridges. The movement presents cleanly and retains its original mechanical integrity. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. (+4 to +6 s/d). Remarks
This Omega Genève is a wonderful representation of 1960s Swiss watchmaking, offering a highly respected automatic movement housed within a versatile and elegant case. Its honest patina and reliable performance make it an excellent addition to any vintage collection.

History
The Genève nomenclature was first used by Omega in the 1950s to designate watches that housed movements regulated to exacting standards in their Geneva facilities. By the late 1960s, the Genève collection had expanded to encompass a wide range of stylish, everyday watches that utilized the same high-quality calibers found in the Seamaster and Constellation lines. These watches are celebrated today for their clean designs, reliable mechanics, and enduring appeal among vintage enthusiasts.
