Artist biography: Raymond POULET was born in Paris in 1934. A former student of the Arts Décoratifs, Beaux-Arts and the Paris Academy of Painting, he regularly exhibits in France, Réunion Island, Guadeloupe, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Belgium, Germany, the United States, Japan, Gabon, Ivory Coast, and Cameroon. He works in oil, lithography, engraving and Aubusson tapestries. He has illustrated numerous books and created several posters. Three monographs have been devoted to his work.
