Description from the seller

HJ#P1
Screen print on 250 g recycled Olin paper
dimensions: 79.4 x 63.4 cm
number of prints: 50
year: 2014

French-born visual artist, musician, composer and writer of Kabyle and Czechoslovak origin, JB Hanak lives and works in Paris. His visual work shares several traits with his musical universe: rich in itself, it encompasses many disparate influences that coexist in intense compression.
From his first exhibitions in 2014, he received support from artists such as Oscar Tuazon, Jean-Luc Verna and David Lynch. His works were quickly recognized by prominent figures in the art world, notably Agnès b, the French Institute, Maison du Papier, Hey!, La Halle Saint-Pierre and Mitsubishi Pencil in Japan.
He has exhibited in Germany, the United States, Luxembourg, Japan, England and France. In France, his work is represented by Galerie 24B (Paris), B.A.G. (Bordeaux) and Galerie Hectare (Tokyo, Japan).
Also a novelist, JB Hanak has just released his second novel “BÂTARDS” acclaimed by critics.
"I read Bâtards with admiration. Your Japan fascinated me. Bravo for this journey to the edge of extremity."
Amélie Nothomb.
