【Description】
Welcome to LastPiece-TimeTravel-Japan.
We circulate precious memories, passing them on to become someone else's ultimate treasure—your "Last Piece."
This is an exceptionally rare and magnificent PILOT Maki-e fountain pen featuring the auspicious "Phoenix" (Houou) motif.
Importantly, this is a Special Limited Edition created to commemorate the beginning of the "Heisei" era in Japan. Production was strictly limited to only 1,000 pieces worldwide, and this pen bears the engraved kanji "Heisei" (平成) along with the Serial Number "957" on its finial (tail end).
It was masterfully crafted by Kyusai Yoshida, a renowned artisan of the "Kokkokai" (a prestigious group of Maki-e artists). The intricate gold Maki-e shines brilliantly against the deep Urushi lacquer background. It features a high-quality 18K solid gold nib.
■ Condition
Pen: MINT / UNUSED. The pen itself has never been inked and is in excellent condition with no visible scratches or wear.
Paulownia Box: The original wooden box shows some very slight dirt/wear due to long-term storage.
