Description:
Original print by the significant German-French artist Johnny Friedlaender (1912–1992), one of the most important renewers of modern color aquatint in the 20th century. The work shows a characteristic abstract composition with fine linear structures, aquatint fields, and calligraphic elements.
The print comes from a numbered edition of 153 copies and bears the artist’s handwritten signature in pencil.
Notably, the sheet retains its full original margins. It is not a trimmed impression and not a presentation behind a mat. The visible margins belong entirely to the original sheet and show the original plate impression of the print.
