Gerard Boersma (1976) presents Keten, an original acrylic painting on masonite of a woman in front of a hot dog stand on the steps of the Guggenheim, framed, hand signed, 93.3 × 70 cm, in multicolour with white, blue, grey, yellow and brown, year 2025, Netherlands, sold by Direct from the artist.

Gerard Boersma is known for his paintings of people in city environments and still life paintings of modern objects.
This framed work of 93,3 x 70 cm shows a woman in front of a hot dog stand on the steps of the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Boersma created this painting after his first gallery exhibition in New York in 2004. It has been in a private collection for many years, but is now available again as the collector is moving into a much smaller house and unfortunately no longer has room for the painting.
The work dates from 2004 and is made with acrylic on masonite. Signed on the front and back and comes with a label of the artist as well as a Certificate Of Authenticity. Overseas shipping in a specially build wooden crate.

Gerard Boersma has been an internationally acclaimed artist for over 25 years well known for his colorful and detailed style of realistic painting, in which he expresses both his concerns and his love for contemporary society. His art is in museums, galleries and private collections worldwide (6 continents, >35 countries). In 2018 he showed his works alongside Warhol, Haring, Banksy and others at a group show in France. He lives and works in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.
