Walter Valentini (Pergola, 22 October 1928 – Milan, 20 May 2022) was an Italian painter, sculptor and engraver, internationally recognized in the field of graphics and printmaking.

He was a master of techniques such as etching, aquatint, drypoint, multi-color lithography, and intaglio printmaking.

Valentini creates limited edition volumes, of high artistic value, on superb handmade paper. The texts are composed using the typographic method "monotype" (typefaces designed specifically for the book and then cast in lead). The pages, hand-bound, are accompanied by etchings.

Walter Valentini (Pergola, 22 ottobre 1928 – Milano, 20 maggio 2022) è stato un pittore, scultore e incisore italiano, riconosciuto a livello internazionale nel campo della grafica e dell'incisione.

Era maestro di tecniche quali l'acquaforte, l'acquatinta, la puntasecca, la litografia a più colori, la calcografia.

Valentini realizza volumi a tiratura limitata, di alto valore artistico, su carta pregiatissima fabbricata a mano. I testi sono composti con il metodo tipografico "monotype" (caratteri di stampa disegnati appositamente per il libro e poi fusi in piombo). Le pagine, rilegate a mano, sono accompagnate da acqueforti.
