Description from the seller
Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello met each other in 1997 in Buenos Aires. Because they both shared a great passion for photography, they quickly discovered that their collaboration could yield something special. Their joint work soon took shape into a body of work characterized by creativity, an unmistakable cinematic quality and a strong affinity with fashion.
In 2001 they moved to Paris, where they won the Picto Prize for young fashion photographers and held an exhibition in the Palais de Tokyo. Their career received a major boost thereafter with exhibitions at prestigious venues, such as the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and the Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin.
Sofia and Mauro worked for numerous international brands from the fashion, jewelry, and lifestyle world, including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Givenchy, Armani, Lanvin, Missoni, Escada, Ungaro, Loewe, L’Oréal, Coca-Cola, Hublot, Eres, Chantal Thomass, Swarovski, Boucheron, Petit Bateau, Piper-Heidsieck, McDonald’s, Paco Rabanne, Louboutin, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Chopard and Air France.
