Tamara Alves, born in 1983, is a prestigious visual artist, illustrator and muralist.

Licensed in Plastic Arts, and holding a Master in Contemporary Artistic Practices from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, she is currently one of the leading names on the Portuguese contemporary urban art scene.

Her work focuses on primal vitality, strong sensations, raw passion; she regularly creates powerful representations of the contemporary body and the feminine universe, mixing human figures with animals, plants, and various symbolic elements, such as carnations in this piece.

As a muralist, she signs large-scale paintings in several European cities.

Licenciada em Artes Plásticas, e mestre em Práticas Artísticas Contemporâneas pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto, atualmente é um dos nomes de maior destaque na cena da arte urbana contemporânea Portuguesa.

O seu trabalho foca-se na vitalidade primitiva, nas sensações fortes, na paixão bruta, cria regularmente representações fortes do corpo contemporâneo e do universo feminino, misturando figuras humanas com animais, plantas, e diversos elementos simbólicos, como são nesta peça os cravos.
