Eleonora Stol, LOVE, an original oil painting (130 x 100 cm) from the 2010–2020 period, hand-signed, in good condition, from the Netherlands, sold by Galerie.
Description from the seller
Eleonora Stol (1946–2022) was a Dutch artist best known for her expressive, colorful, and emotionally charged paintings and prints. She was born in Leiden and studied at the Vrije Academie in The Hague, and then worked for a long time from Amsterdam. Her artist name was sometimes also “La Roja,” referring to her preference for strong colors, with red as a recurring theme in her life and work.
Stol’s work is characterized by vivid color use, dynamic forms, and an intuitive painting style in which passion, love, dance, and dream imagery play a major role. She often used mixed techniques, including acrylic, oil paint, and pencil, giving her works a rich, texture-rich appearance that directly engages emotion. Her art is described as lively, energetic, and full of movement, almost as if the canvases “breathe.”
Dimensions of the work: 130 x 100 cm
The work is viewable at our gallery. Furthermore, Art Dumay operates a framing workshop (this year they celebrate their 85th anniversary) and a restoration studio. So if you would like to use these services, please let us know."} # Note: Trailing punctuation adjusted for natural English flow.
