This bronze statue was made by Peter Engelen, who belongs to the top tier of the small group of contemporary animal sculptors that the Netherlands is rich with. In his work he shows an exceptional talent for the art of omission. In an intelligent way, he captures the essence and strength of his subject, whether it strides, leaps, stalks, lurks, or is completely relaxed.
Peter Engelen specializes in creating animal sculptures, with horses and predators holding particular appeal. His sculptures are characterized by a powerful form, a strong sense of anatomy, and a striking expression of movement and character.

Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year.
