AA.VV. presents Une saison en enfer - 6 fogli, a hand-signed, limited edition (22/50) marine landscape portfolio from 1988, produced in Italy using lithography, etching, aquatint and mixed media in multicolour; dimensions 73.5 × 52 cm and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Splendid and excellent artist's book / portfolio limited edition inspired by the famous work "Une saison en enfer" (Una stagione all'inferno) by the French poet Arthur Rimbaud, the cursed poet.
The publication was curated by the prestigious and historic artisanal publishing house "IL LABORATORIO / Le edizioni" (Nola, Naples), renowned for producing numbered art editions and entirely handmade.
The portfolio is complete and comprises 6 original art prints (etchings and aquatints on handmade paper / special manufacture), each pencil-signed by the respective artist and all strictly and evenly numbered 22/50 (a very low edition of only 50 copies worldwide).
List of the artists present with their respective engravings:
Carlo Catuogno (signed)
Peppe Ferraro (signed)
Mario Ranieri (signed)
Errico Ruotolo (signed)
Nino Tricarico (signed)
Pasquale Truppo (signed)
The work is enriched by an introductory essay and critical text by the art historian Massimo Bignardi.
