Original lithograph by Joan Miró belonging to the prestigious publication El Tapís de Tarragona, published by Sala Gaspar (Barcelona) in 1972. The work reproduces the unmistakable visual language of the Catalan artist, characterized by the combination of intense primary colors, broad black strokes, and graphic signs with great expressive force.
This composition is part of the famous artist's book dedicated to Tapís de Tarragona, a project developed by Joan Miró in collaboration with the master tapestry-maker Josep Royo. The publication constitutes an important testimony of Miró's interest in experimentation across different artistic disciplines during the 1970s.
