Kako Topouria (born in 1960 in Tbilisi, Georgia) is a contemporary visual artist who is known for his expressive paintings, sculptures and tapestries. After studying art history at Tbilisi State University, he moved to France in 1990. Since then he divides his time and work between Paris and Georgia. His artistic style combines traditional Georgian cultural influences with modern Western techniques, with figurative motifs and striking compositions at the center. His work has been exhibited internationally and included in renowned collections, including those of the World Bank.
