Awik Balaian - In her dream

Awik Balaian is an artist, animator, filmmaker and stage artist at the Dutch National Opera and Ballet in Amsterdam. He graduated from the Art Academy ArteZ in Arnhem and the Film Academy in Amsterdam. He has worked with big names such as Rolando Vilazion, Cicilia Bartoli, Ben Sonborgat, Rud den Driver and many more. Approximately 150 illustrations for Dante's Inferno, nominated for the International Color Award and other great projects.

Awik Balaian's work shows his own created surrealist world, inspired by classical mythology and literature.
