This lithograph was created for the portfolio celebrating the completion of the ceiling of the Paris Opera by Marc Chagall in 1962; on the back of the lithograph is the first maquette realised by Chagall, also printed in lithography. This lithograph in bright colors perfectly illustrates the joyful vision of the opera that Chagall had.

Very good condition, medium creases as issued and small foxing along the edges, especially on the reverse side (see photos)
