Anthonie Waterloo (c.1610-1690) - Apollo e Dafne

Beautiful original engraving by A. Waterloo depicting the mythological episode of the god Apollo pursuing the nymph Daphne in a hilly landscape.
"Esemplare" with small margins, on laid paper, in good condition, two specks visible on the back, some light abrasions to the margins and slightly chipped and a few creases along the left margin (see photo).
Signed "Antoni Waterlo in. et f." and numbered (2) on the plate at the top left.
