Soft-ground etching and four-color aquatint, numbered (70/95), by the Italian artist Giorgio De Chirico (1888-1974), master of the Metaphysical art movement, entitled “Paggio a cavallo” (Page on Horseback), dated 1972. The work depicts a page on horseback viewed from the right-front three-quarter angle, and bears the artist’s dry stamp, the dry stamp “Alberto Caprini Stampatore in Roma,” the autograph signature, the title and the numbering (70/95), inserted in pencil by the author. The dimensions of the work are: 70 x 50.5 cm (sheet), 50.5 x 38 cm (plate).
