Ugo Nespolo, born in Mosso (Biella), trained at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin and holds a degree in Modern Literature. His beginnings in the Italian art scene date back to the Sixties, to Pop Art, to the future conceptualists and poveristi. Never tied absolutely to any one movement, his production immediately characterizes itself by a marked ironic, transgressive imprint, and a personal sense of amusement.
