Vasarely’s perfectionism imposes an absolute quality requirement that only at that time Basel presses’ prowess could satisfy. Thus, between 1971 and 1978, Editions du Griffon, in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, were entrusted by Victor Vasarely with the realization, distribution, and diffusion of 19 albums and 12 screenprints gathering the best of his works.
This unique print from a special edition titled "Ondulatoires" which was conceived and supervised by Victor Vasarely himself, and it is with the same concern for quality that Editions du Griffon gave exceptional care to these series of albums printed in the 1970s, identifiable by the copyright on the back of the impressions.
