Description from the seller
The heavy rope chain is made in 900 silver and has a 2% platinum overlay. This was confirmed by the expert examination conducted by the master goldsmith, since the chain itself is not hallmarked.
The solidly crafted rope chain features a silver slider in the lower third, stamped in 835 silver by the company Bartel & Söhne Augsburg. This slider is firmly attached to the chain. It consists of a large oval, dark-green jade plate with a finely polished surface, which bears a genuine Akoya cultured pearl in a peripheral arrangement through entwined ornaments. Beneath this, the rope strands continue with cylindrical silver caps as terminals, of uniform thickness.
Chain length up to the decorative part about 74 cm, total length about 103 cm, allowing the chain to be worn even without a clasp and it can be slipped on very easily.
Decorative part size about 3 cm x 2 cm, jade plate about 27 mm x 17 mm = about 20 ct.
Akoya cultured pearl size about 5.4 mm in diameter = about 1.10 ct.
An exceptional goldsmith-made piece, custom-made in solid form and very rare in preservation.
Shipping is in a new jewelry case/pouch.
