Original color lithograph by the Belgian artist Pol Bury, a major figure of kinetic art, here developing one of his famous Ramollissements de Mondrian.
The composition reclaims the geometric rigor characteristic of Piet Mondrian, with red, blue and yellow fields separated by black lines, gradually subjected to a spectacular deformation. Presented as a sequence of 24 variations, the initial grid seems to soften, undulate, and metamorphose.
