Vasarely’s perfectionism imposes an absolute quality standard that only at that time the presses of Basel printing houses could satisfy.
Thus, between 1971 and 1978, Editions Du Griffon, in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, were entrusted by Victor Vasarely with the realization, distribution and dissemination of 19 albums and 12 serigraphs comprising the florilegium of his works.
This unique print comes from a special edition titled "Ondulatoires" which was conceived and supervised by Victor Vasarely himself, and with the same concern for quality, Editions du Griffon paid exceptional attention to these series of albums printed in the 1970s, identifiable by the copyright on the back of the prints.
