INFORMATION : This is the last lithograph etched by Chagall, completed a few hours before his death. This work is particularly touching in its subject matter, with great softness, showing the painter at the palette, already winged, finishing the painting of a couple (self-portrait with his wife) while the angel descends from Heaven and is about to accompany him on his final journey.
