What is depicted: A veduta (city view) of Paris with a view of the Pont Neuf (new bridge) and the Seine toward the Pont au Change (Wissel Brug) near the Louvre.
Artist / Publisher: At the bottom left is the signature “Pet. Schenk ex. Amst.” to be read. This stands for Peter Schenk the Elder (1660–1711 or his son of the same name), a well-known German-Dutch copperplate engraver and art publisher from Amsterdam.
Caption:
