About the work:
Vasarely’s perfectionism imposes an absolute quality standard that only at that time the capabilities of Basel printers could satisfy.
Thus, between 1971 and 1978, Editions du Griffon, Neuchâtel in Switzerland, were entrusted by Victor Vasarely with the realization, distribution, and diffusion of 19 albums and 12 serigraphs comprising a showcase of his works.
This unique edition from a special edition was imagined and supervised by Victor Vasarely himself, and it is with this same care for quality that Editions du Griffon gave exceptional attention to these album series printed in the 1970s, identifiable by the copyright on the back of the prints.
