Rembrandt Harmensz. Van Rijn (1606-1669), after - Ritratto di Jan Cornelisz Sylvius

Beautiful anonymous engraving that, in the same direction, mirrors Rembrandt's etching depicting the half-length portrait of the preacher Jan Cornelisz Sylvius, seated with a book and facing to the left.
Exemplar trimmed to the frame, on laid paper, in very good condition, just a bit yellowed on the reverse (see photo).
Slightly visible on the left is the signature "Rembrandt f. 1633". Belongs to a 19th-century edition of Rembrandt's works.
For the edition: White & Boon, 266; Hind, 111; New Hollstein (Dutch & Flemish), 124.
