Il bacio is a contemporary original square 40 × 40 cm digital print in mixed media, depicting a couple embracing under a long cloak in blue, white and red tones, signed and produced in France in 2026, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
In this square format, Medsan places an embracing couple at the center of a large cream-colored surface punctuated by cracks.
The man, seen from behind, tilts his head toward that of the woman and holds her face between both hands; she has closed eyes, the cheek orange-red, the neck inclined, and clasps the fingers on the other hand that restrains her.
The two bodies vanish under a long single cloak that wraps them from the shoulders to the ground: deep blue and light blue rectangles on the man's side, concentric circles and small round flowers on the woman's side, all in blue on a white background with some brick-red accents. They kneel on a carpet of blue, white and red flowers that occupies the entire lower part of the image. A thin network of dark cracks and wide gold lines runs across the entire surface. At the bottom left, the cartouche X [*.
A narrow embrace held up by its own cracks.
A sober and intense work, ideal for bringing a touch of blue and gold into a contemporary interior for a collector devoted to great images of love.
