The Ferrari Testarossa Pininfarina Mythos, or more simply Ferrari Mythos, is a show car type “barchetta”, built by the car manufacturer of Maranello in cooperation with Pininfarina and presented at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1989.
The car was built on the chassis of the Testarossa and adopted its whole platform, mechanics and the central 12-cylinder boxer engine of 4942 cm³ and 390 HP. The performance is therefore very similar to that of the original model.
From a stylistic point of view, the intention was to create a modern version of the racing Ferrari made for the gentlemen-drivers of the 1960s, preserving its spirit of racing car which is particularly emphasized by the absence of the roof and the minimalism of the interior. The latter is characterised by bucket seats with built-in harness seat belts, simplified instruments and essential upholstery.
