Pieter Bodart (Utrecht, 1676/1677 – Leiden, ca. 1712) was a Dutch engraver, etcher, publisher, and art dealer, active mainly between the late 17th and early 18th century.
Bodart operated within the Dutch Golden Age and its subsequent transition toward academic classicism. His figure is historically linked to the translation into engraving of works and drawings created by the greatest masters and theorists of his time. In addition to artistic activity, he dedicated himself to the book trade, jewelry, and art auctions in Leiden.
Gerard Hoet (Zaltbommel, 22 August 1648 – The Hague, 2 December 1733) was a famous Dutch painter, draftsman, and writer of the Golden Age, particularly renowned for his historical, religious, and mythological compositions.
Johannes Arnoldus Langerak (also known as Johan Arnold Langerak) was not a painter or engraver but an important Dutch publisher and bookseller active in Leiden in the first half of the eighteenth century (baptized 1685 and buried around 1757).
