Original silkscreen by the painter Guillaume Corneille (1922-2010), born in Liège to Dutch parents and a founding member of the Cobra group with Karel Appel, Asger Jorn, Constant, Dotremont and later Alechinsky and Jacques Doucet. Referenced in the catalogue raisonné of Guillaume Corneille's graphic works under number 408.

Signed and dated in graphite by the artist's hand.

Identified as an important figure in the renewal of abstraction in Northern Europe, Corneille gradually moved from 1967 toward a rich and colorful Nouvelle Figurаtion that coordinates with the Pop Art taste of the 1960s and 1970s, and exhibited alongside Andy Warhol, Arman, César, etc.
