Very beautiful pocket watch of John Wayne with chain under a bell jar. 
24 K gold-plated with the portrait of John Wayne. 
Rare. 
Issued by Franklin Mint. 
The portrait of John Wayne is 24 k gold plated on a silver-plated background with a narrow gold-plated bezel. 
Surrounded by a lavishly decorated silver plated ring. 
The rest of the outside of the pocket watch plus the chain are also 24 k gold plated. 
On the dial are the initials of John Wayne. 
Also the stand is fully 24 k gold plated and has a green velvet inlay. 
The bell jar is made of glass with a wooden base which has a black velvet inlay. 
On the base is a plaque with the text: John Wayne Collector Watch. 
When the stand is in the bell jar there is space under the stand to store a chain. 
The whole set is in very good condition, however, the wooden foot has some most minor of chip damage, so small it cannot show in the photo, which can easily be removed with a marker. 
In reality it’s more beautiful than on the pictures, silver and gold is hard to photograph.
