The quality of digital, without the hassle of a computer! The Roland VS1880 is a complete home studio in one device. No messing around with drivers, plugins, latency, updates, crashes, and other inconveniences: Just plug and play. 
The well thought out layout and the large, sharp and pleasant display provide a fast workflow and an optimal ease of use.

The 24-bit recordings and beautiful sounding preamps provide an extremely high sound quality together. Add the switchable phantom power (for condenser microphones) to that, 12(!) outputs for extreme flexibility for mixing or for different monitor mixes during recording, EZ routing or very simple and clear assigning of the inputs to different tracks, SCSI connector to connect an external hard drive or CD burner, MIDI in and out to be able to sync, great Roland effects, and much more!

 - Hi-Z input (guitar in) specifically for electric (bass) guitars
 - Elaborate and yet clear and effective working environment due to the large and sharp LCD screen (320x240 pixels!) and the 12+1 faders.
 - EZ Routing: with this you can call on, create and record various recording and mixing settings
 - All important functions can be reached quickly with precisely enough buttons: very well thought out and intuitive layout = easy to operate
