Every fan of Sherry-ripened Whiskeys will be able to open their eyes at the sight of the color of the KAVALAN Selection Sherry Single Cask! The 'Whiskeys from Taiwan of KAVALAN are probably one of the most successful new distilleries outside Scotland and were almost overwhelmed in 2014 with awards. In view of such wonderful bottlings, we are not surprised! In this special edition, the barrel was selected by the importer LMDW and bottled at 58.6% alcohol content. The whiskey was of course prepared without the addition of dyes or a cooling filter. The result is 525 bottles, which are individually numbered and come in a noble black packaging. Strong sherrynotes have a taste for the taste sensors, thanks to their intensive barrels and excellent maturation conditions in the tropical climate of Taiwan.
This single malt is the reason for many awards and the enormous demand for the bottling of the distillery. The selection series, similar to the soloist series, stands for single drum bottling. The maturation took place in the best Oloroso sherry barrels. The bottles also bear the signature of the Master Blender 
Aroma: Intensive dark fruit notes and noble spices are accompanied by sweet vanilla and a nutty note. Behind it some eucalyptus and cardamom. 
Taste: Full-bodied and intense on the tongue. Fruity dark berries and cherries are accompanied by raisins. Goes over into spices, dark chocolate and even coffee. 
Finish: Long-lasting and dry. Spicy with intense oak notes and dark chocolate again.
