A very rare and unique Jaguar statue. 
Probably comes from an English Jaguar factory from the 1950s-1960s and served as decoration near the entrance.
Made of copper/brass and has a total weight of 8.5 kg. Not solid but hollow on the inside.
The statue is numbered with a 2 on its rear legs. The meaning of this is unfortunately unknown.
At the back are 2 bolts for mounting the statue. The bolts are cast as a part of the statue.  

The statue is highly detailed, take a look at the feet and the head. Bottom of the foot even has nails and pads.
Here and there some spots due to age.

Bolts with Whitworth screw thread. Whitworth came from England and was used until the 1960s, by that time only for aluminium.
This confirms the age and provenance of the statue.

Total length from heat to tail 97 cm.
