Beautiful large desk lamp made by the Italian company "Effetto Lucce" in the 80s.

The lamp is made out of different materials; The foot is made of metal and stands on a rotating platform so the lamp can easily turn. The foot also has an on/off switch. The lamp's shaft is made of carbon and has integrated copper tracks instead of wiring. The very beautifully designed hood is made of plastic with an aluminium reflector. The hood is pivotally mounted on the shaft. The lamp has a two-position switch so one can selected from two brightnesses.

The sticker of the manufacturer is stuck on the inside of the stem, with the logo "EL" and further "Effetto Luce made in Italy".

The power of that lamp that was plugged in was replaced for a loose power supply (see power supply). The wires to and from the PSU are long enough to remove the PSU from sight and the new PSU is insured. The old plug PSU is still complete and is included. For the handy DIY enthusiast.

The lamp is a very rare copy. It would not be easy to find second copy of this amazingly fine Italian design.

In working condition. The lamp is suitable for halogen lamps G6,35.
