A very elegant vintage Russian porcelain coffee set made by Lomonosov (Imperial) Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg. The set is decorated in the famous "Cobalt Net" pattern which became a symbol of post-war Lomonosov Porcelain. This elegant Neo-classical style pattern was designed in 1946 by the artist Anna Yatskevich and is based on the original pattern used on the tea service for Empress Elizabeth of Russia in the 18th century. In 1958, "Cobalt Net" teaware won the gold medal at the Brussels World's Fair. Shape name: Tulip. The set comprises: - a coffee pot. Height 19cm, volume 1.2l. - a lidded sugar box. H11.5cm. - a milk jug. - a pedestal sweetmeat dish. - 4 coffee cups. H5.8cm. - 4 saucers. Diameter 11.7cm. - 4 side plates. D15cm. 16 items in total.
