Very rare watch and a very interesting collector's piece "Minerva" Germany army military watch from the 1940s
Era (circa): 1940 – 1945 Watch published in one of the best encyclopedias of military watches 
Waterproof case in nickel plated metal with caseback which closes using steel screws. Case measures 34.15 mm excluding winding crown
Black dial with Minerva logo 
The exterior of the caseback is marked: Boden Edelstahl (caseback in precious steel) D 641249 H ( DH > Diensthur Heer > watch made for the German army, 641249 is the registration number assigned to the soldier)
The caseback interior is marked: LL 8711
