An absolutely amazing typewriter. Not only it types beautifully, but also looks fantastic.
It is the latest example of luxury typewriters. Possibly one of the prettiest typewriters prior to World War II. Made in Erfurt, Germany by Olympia Bueromaschinenwerke. Its serial number is 276409, therefore, manufactured in 1938. Model 8 was manufactured for several years. Those made after 1939 have a worse quality.
It is, undoubtedly, one of the machines most demanded by collectors and experts.
It is in excellent condition. It has been reviewed and works perfectly.. On the back, retain the distributor plate. It was marketed in Sttugart, Germany.
It has unique characteristics like:  A calendar on the top left ,Switch for double spacing L I K E T H I S, Special paper guide for drawing tables, Tabulator, Fast-changing carrage system, Fine regulation of the lower paper-guide pressure on the paper and nice glass panels on the sides and on the back. The ribbon system is fascinating. Ribbon reversing can be manual or automatic.

It is a robust and heavy typewriter, its weight is of 17KG.. It measures 39 cm width  37 cm depth and 25 cm height.
It is possible to buy spare ribbons at most online stores. The machine retains an old ribbon that still writes.
It comes with a copy of the original manual and with a cloth cover.
