Sempe’ was founded as company in 1934, but Abel Sempe’ was at that time allready a
longtime, creating, “Vieil Armagnac’s in divers bottlings.
This is one of the oldest bottles.

Armagnac is distilled in a continous still, the single distillation creates a heaver
spirit but lower in alcohol but higher in flavour than Cognac.

Armagnac is distilled between 53-60 percent -Cognac is distilled 72 percent alcohol in 2 distillations.
The grape variaty is mostly Ugni Blac, Folle Blanche and Colombard.
They age separately in casks, to give the viticuteur a creater freedom and flexebility to create their final blend
